OCTOBER 2017
We are pleased to confirm that with effect from 2nd October 2017, Dave Evenden will take over from Carol Baker, and be responsible for Sales and Customer Service in the South East Area.

Dave previously worked as a Senior Renal Technologist within the Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust, and is therefore already well versed in our equipment.

I am sure you will join us in welcoming Dave to the Therapy Equipment Sales team, and wish him all the very best for the future.
SEPTEMBER 2017
We are very sorry to advise that Carol Baker has decided to retire as Area Sales Manager, for the South East Area.

Carol joined Therapy Equipment Ltd in July 2002, when she took over the sales patch from her father, Mike Baker.

It will therefore seem a little strange not to have a Baker as part of the Sales Team. We do however thank her for the considerable effort she has put in over the years.

Carol has formed an excellent relationship with her customers, who I'm sure will join us in wishing Carol and her family all the very best for the future.

APRIL 2017

We were delighted to work with University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in equipping the new state of the art casualty department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The new £48 Million facility opened in April 2017, and includes a larger waiting area, a newly dedicated eye casualty section, and three high dependency bays in the children’s emergency department.

APRIL 2017

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 3rd April 2017, Jason White has joined us as the Area Sales Manager for the Midlands Area.

Jason comes from a Medical Sales background, and is already well known to a majority of the Hospitals on the patch.

MARCH 2017
We are very sorry to confirm that Corinne Van Wyk has decided to retire as Area Sales Manager, for the Midlands Area.

She leaves with out thanks for the considerable effort she has put into the patch since joining us in November 2009.

I am sure you will join us in wishing Corinne and her family every success, health and happiness for the future.
OCTOBER 2015

As an existing user of Therapy Equipment products, we were delighted to continue to be of service to the Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust , in supplying the Suction Units required within the new Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

The brand new £237 Million Hospital, which opened in October 2015, has over 70% Private En-suite Rooms, with pull out beds for Parents. The building has 270 Beds and 16 Operating Theatres over 5 stories.

The old Hospital is apparently being demolished to make way for new parkland.
OCTOBER 2015
We were very pleased to be able to continue our excellent relationship with  the North Cumbria University Hospital NHS Trust, and work with them in supplying all the new Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new £90 Million redevelopment of the West Cumberland Hospital.

The Hospital opened on 5th October 2015.
JUNE 2015

We were delighted to receive the order for all the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.


The new £95 Million Hospital, which is England's first purpose built specialist emergency care hospital opened on 16th June 2015.
DECEMBER 2014
We were delighted to work with Northwick Park Hospital in equipping their new Accident & Emergency Department.

Opened on 10th December 2014, the new £21Million state of the art A&E Department incorporates all the main elements of emergency care and services.

A new GP-led Urgent Care Centre is also housed within the new building.
APRIL 2014

We were delighted to receive the order for the new Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new Kent Institute of Medicine & Surgery (KIMS).

Situated on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, the new £120Million Hospital was opened in April 2014.


JULY 2013

We are pleased to confirm that we are back up to full compliment in the office again.

Michelle Taylor, or Shellie, as she prefers to be called, joined us on Monday 22nd July 2013, as a replacement for Carol Doling who left at the end of June 2013.

Although Shellie doesn't come from a Medical Background, she is used to working in a Customer Services environment, so will be only too willing to help you with your sales enquiries.

JUNE 2013

We are very sorry to confirm that one of our office based Sales Co-ordinators, Carol Doling, has decided to move on, and will leave Therapy Equipment on 28th June 2013.

During the 13 Years Carol was with us, she became extremely popular with all staff members and customers alike, being known for her professional, friendly and highly efficient manner.

Carol will certainly be missed, however she leaves with our best wishes for the future.

NOVEMBER 2012

Therapy Equipment Ltd was selected as the sole Suction, Oxygen Therapy supplier for the new £110 Million Emergency Care Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The new facility which opens in December 2012, replaces the current Accident & Emergency Department. The Cardiology, Oncology and Haematology Departments will also be situated in the new building.
JULY 2012

Therapy Equipment were delighted to be selected as the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment supplier at the new £19 Million East Ridings Community Hospital in Beverley.

The 30 bed facility, on Swinemoor Lane, includes a minor injuries unit and a GP out-of-hours service. It serves the communities of Driffield, West Wolds, Beverley and Hornsea.
JUNE 2012
We were delighted to continue to be of service to Circle Hospital, by supplying all Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment within the new Circle Reading Hospital.

The brand new state-of-the-art facility is due to open in August 2012, following in the footsteps of Circle's first award winning hospital in Bath (another Therapy Equipment equipped Hospital).
MAY 2012
We have been pleased to work with the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust in supplying some of the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required in their new Hospital.

The new £370 Million development has been equipped in stages, however should be fully operational by 2012.

The new facilities provide more single rooms to improve privacy and State-of-the-Art medical and diagnostic equipment.
APRIL 2012

We were delighted to continue our excellent relationship with Great Ormond Street Hospital, and work with them in supplying the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new Morgan Stanley Clinical Building.

The new Clinical Building is the first of two new buildings which will form the Mittal Childrens Medical Centre.

The unit was opened by Lord Coe on Thursday 14th June 2012.
MARCH 2012

Therapy Equipment Ltd was successful in supplying all Suction, Oxygen Therapy requirements for the new North Cotswolds Hospital.

The new Hospital opened on 31st March 2012, which is based on the Fosseway, is a state of the art community hospital with 22 en suite bedrooms. It also contains a day lounge and dining room, supplying diagnostic facilities including X-Ray, a Minor Injury Unit and Outpatient Services.
MARCH 2012
We were delighted to recieve the order for all Suction, Oxygen Therapy requirements at the new South Britol Community Hospital.

The £45 Million development opened on 30th March 2012, and provides people in South Bristol with diagnostic tests and therapy services. It also houses Bristol's first urgent care centre for minor illnesses and injuries, day surgery and a rehabilitation service where people are able to stay as inpatients.
DECEMBER 2011
Therapy Equipment was delighted to receive the contract for the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new £170 Million wing at Victoria Hospital, Kirkclady.

The new wing is part of NHS Fife, and houses a new Accident and Emergency Department and Maternity Services
NOVEMBER 2011

We were pleased to work with The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with their Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment requirements within the new £30Million Institute of Transplantatiion Centre based at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.

AUGUST 2011

We were delighted to receive the contract for all the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment at the new Royal London Hospital.

The new Hospital, which is part of the Barts and The London NHS Trust is a £1 Billion programme, replacing many of the existing hospital's ageing buildings with state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to rival the best in Europe.

The new Royal London will be Britain's biggest new Hospital, and provides general and specialist services to the population of East London and beyond.

The first half of the new building at Barts is now open, with the new Hospital at the Royal London due to open in December 2011.

JULY 2011
Equipped in three phases, Therapy Equipment was successful in supplying and installing all the new Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The new Hospital became fully operational in July 2011, and transfered all existing services from Falkirk Hospital and Stirling Royal Infirmary.

The £300M Hospital was opened by Her Majesty the Queen, and represented the largest contruction project ever built in Scotland.
DECEMBER 2010

Therapy Equipment were delighted to be selected as the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment supplier at the new hi-tech Integrated Critical Care Unit (ICCU) at Sunderland Royal Hospital.

The new ICCU, which opens in early 2011, is part of a new £28 Million Ward Block, and is full of the latest cutting-edge technologies.

NOVEMBER 2010

Therapy Equipment Ltd were delighted to be awarded with the contract for the supply of all Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment required within the new £289 Million, state of the art, Peterborough City Hospital.

The new Hospital, which is part of the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust opened its doors to its first patients in November 2010, transferring patients from the existing Peterborough District Hospital and Edith Cavel Hospital.

AUGUST 2010
Therapy Equipment were successful in supplying the Medical Rail system, and all Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment in the new £150 Million PFI five storey wing built at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
 
Services will start to move into the new building in September 2010, with all transfers being operational by early October 2010.
JUNE 2010
We were delighted to be awarded with the contract for the supply of Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment in the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
 
Part of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), the new £545 Million Queen Elizabeth Hospital opened on 16 June 2010, transferring services from the existing Selly Oak, and existing Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. More services will transfer during phased moves through October 2011.
JUNE 2010
We were delighted to receive the contract for the supply of Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment at the new £32Million Women's and Children's unit at North Manchester General Hospital and at the new £17Million Christie at Oldham Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital. Both Hospitals are part of the The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. 
MAY 2010

Further to the award of the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust's contract for the supply of Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment at the new Pontefract Hospital, we were equally delighted to be of service at the new Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, which is due to open in June/July 2010.

APRIL 2010

We are extremely pleased to confirm that with effect from 12th April 2010, David Boswell will re-joined the Therapy Equipment Sales Team as Area Sales Manager for the North London/North Thames/Suffolk area.

 

David has worked in Medical Sales since moving on from his EBME Manager days, and indeed previously worked for Therapy Equipment on a different Sales territory between 2002-04.

 

He returns to us with an excellent product knowledge, and a desire to maintain the high level of customer satisfaction set by Dennis Pike in the area.

 

I am sure you will join us in welcoming David’s return to the Sales Team, and wish him all the best for the future.

APRIL 2010

We are very sorry to confirm that Dennis Pike will retire as Area Sales Manager for the North London/North Thames/Suffolk area, with effect from 30th April 2010.

 

Dennis has proved to be an excellent asset to the Therapy Equipment Sales Team – his drive and determination for customer satisfaction being second to none.

 

Dennis will be sorely missed, however we wish him, and his family every success, health and happiness for the future.

JACQUI'S GOT MARRIED!
 

We are delighted to confirm that our Area Sales Manager for Scotland, Jacqui Mossom, married on Saturday 3rd April 2010.

 

Apparently, despite the threat, the weather behaved itself and the day event’s went very well.

 

Jacqui’s new married name is JACQUI SCHMITZ.

 

Her Mobile Number will remain unaltered, however her email address will change with immediate effect to jacqui.schmitz@therapyequipment.co.uk.

 

We wish Jacqui every happiness for the future.

JANUARY 2010
We were delighted to be awarded with the contract for the supply of Diamond Suction and Diamond Flowmeters in the new state of the art, £60M extension of services at Pontefract Hospital.
 
Part of the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, the PFI project is part of an overall £311M redevelopment of Hospitals in Pontefract and Wakefield.

Therapy Equipment Ltd are pleased to confirm that we have recently equipped the brand new £25Million Johnson Community Hospital, Spalding (Part of Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust), with our Diamond Range Flowmeters and Suction Controllers.

FEBRUARY 2009
Further to the completion of the new Oncology Department, Therapy Equipment were also successful in supplying the Suction, Oxygen Therapy Equipment for the new £48 Million Castle Hill Hospital (Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust) Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery Centre. This state of the art facility is enabling the Trust to perform 2,000 more operations a year, and was officially opened by the Home Secretary, Alan Johnson in July 2009.
AUGUST 2008

Therapy Equipment Ltd are delighted to be awarded the contract for the Suction, Oxygen Therapy equipment for the new £70 Million Oncology and Haematology Department on the Castle Hill site (Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust). The Hospital proved to be one of the first major sites to receive our new Diamond Range Suction Controllers.

JULY 2008
As part of its continuing product re-development, Therapy Equipment Ltd launches the Diamond Suction Range. The range completes the Diamond Range Package, and is at the forefront of technology. The product range is covered by a seven year function and accidental damage warranty. It is the first Suction Range that is identifiable by a colour code, and a filter that changes colour when contaminated.
